Meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic

On February 16, 2023 the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda during his working visit to Damascus met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic Faisal al-Mekdad.

During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed the condolences of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Government and people of Syria due to the severe earthquake in this country.

Faisal Mekdad on behalf of the supreme leadership of his country, appreciated the President of the Republic of Tajikistan for his attention in such difficult moments.

The parties also exchanged views on the expansion and strengthening of bilateral relations in various fields and other issues of mutual interests.
