On September 18, 2025, as part of his official working visit, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Turkiye, Mr. Sodiq Imomi held a meeting with the Governor of Trabzon Province, Mr. Aziz Yıldırım.

During the meeting, the sides held a constructive discussion on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkiye, with a particular focus on enhancing collaboration at the regional level. The talks highlighted opportunities for expanding trade and economic relations, increasing cultural and humanitarian exchanges, and fostering direct partnerships between business communities in both countries.

Governor Yıldırım conveyed his readiness to support for initiatives aimed at advancing economic cooperation and promoting cultural and social interaction. He emphasized Trabzon Province’s interest in developing closer relations with Tajikistan and affirmed the regional administration’s readiness to cooperate on joint projects of mutual benefit.
